What can I expect on the day I Test?
~ Arrive Early, if you are late, you cannot take the written portion.
~  Have 2 forms of ID - Both signed   One ID must be a current government issued ID, such as a Driver's License Second ID can be a Social Security card (preferred), a credit card or a current passport.
~  It is recommended you wear scrubs, you must have closed toe shoes on - no sandals. 

How long will it take?
~  Written portion:  You have up to 2 hours to take the written portion, which is on the computer.  There are 60 multiple choice questions.
~ Clinical portion:  You will have 3 skills to do in 35 minutes.
~ Plan on taking that day off from work, school, doctor appointments or prior engagements.

When will I know the results?
~ You will be given your results of both tests upon completion.

What if I don't pass?
~ You will need to contact Prometric to schedule another test day.
~ If you pass one and not the other, you would schedule ONLY the portion you failed and submit payment for the portion you did not pass.

How long will it take to get my license? 
~ You should receive your licence in 2-4 weeks.  If you do not receive it within 4 weeks, contact the Florida State Board of Nusing.

Can I get a job before I receive my license?
~ Some facilities will accept your test result paper others will not.
